Travel Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Provide travel advisory services and arrange travel for corporate clients, catering to both individuals and groups.

• Perform analysis and research on travel options while proactively anticipating the needs of travelers to promote additional services.

• Organize and book both domestic and international business travel, handling a range of complexities for air, road, rail, and accommodations.

• Utilize various Global Distribution Systems (GDSs), such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus; training may be available.

• Ensure adherence to the agreed-upon travel policies of customers, service provider guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Employ effective telephone service techniques and respond to unique customer requests.

• Collaborate with your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback aimed at enhancing service levels.

• Support a dedicated client account through rotating shifts within a 24/7 operational framework.

• A strong commitment to excellence in client service, including the proactive anticipation of needs.

• Proficiency in Amadeus GDS as a native user.

• Professional-level communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Demonstrate integrity and safeguard personal traveler information.

• Solid understanding of the travel industry, with experience in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.

• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently or in collaboration with suppliers.

• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to accept and act upon feedback.
