This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Meet and exceed top-line sales objectives aligned with division and local market targets by promoting DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, and PORTERCABLE brands to our end-user clients.
• Build, nurture, and sustain essential relationships with end-user partners through tailored product and service solutions, in addition to managing CORE and other SBD user contracts and responsibilities.
• Educate and guide your local market team on the End User development process: identifying key contacts (such as trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, quality managers, general managers, line supervisors, chief mechanics, purchasing agents, etc.), understanding their purchasing procedures (both central and facility-level), and aligning their efforts with local market teams, product managers, distributors, and service centers.
• Collaborate with Channel Marketing to execute and oversee marketing initiatives.
• Utilize SalesForce.com as a CRM and planning resource. Timely communicate successes and challenges to refine processes and enhance future strategies with key accounts and opportunities.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Relevant experience in the construction field may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
• Over 3 years of experience in Sales or Marketing within Construction Supplies, demonstrating a successful track record and experience selling to high-level executives, C-Suite members, and jobsite directors is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Capacity to combine empathy with determination to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• A valid Driver's License and the physical ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
