This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Promote and advocate for the RIDGID® and Greenlee® product line among end users in the electrical, mechanical, utility, plumbing, industrial, and construction sectors.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with tradespeople, supervisors, safety leaders, purchasing agents, project teams, and business owners.
• Facilitate product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational presentations for customers, apprenticeship programs, and industry professionals.
• Create and implement strategies to enhance product specification, adoption, and standardization within designated territories and key customer accounts.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Territory Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Professional Tool Specialist Leads, and distribution partners on strategic initiatives, qualified leads, and customer opportunities.
• Record demonstrations, training activities, opportunities, presentations, and expenses using reporting and CRM systems.
• Recognize customer challenges and propose solutions that align with their needs.
• Share insights on market trends, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback with the wider sales team.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast Region.
• Experience with tool applications and a solid mechanical aptitude related to electrical, utility, plumbing, or similar tools.
• Strong preference for experience or knowledge of electrical systems and associated tools.
• Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to consolidate extensive information into clear and concise messages.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and influencing abilities.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Documented history of meeting goals and sales targets.
• Effective time and territory management capabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel 50% within Florida.
• Must reside in the Orlando, FL area for territory coverage.
• Preferred proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience with CRM applications is an advantage.
• Preferred background in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or other pipe trades.
• Experience with distribution channels is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
