Threat Intelligence Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Oversee and analyze activities on dark web forums, marketplaces, encrypted messaging platforms, and other clandestine channels.

• Monitor the behavior of threat actors, their campaigns, and the evolution of TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures).

• Gather, classify, and evaluate pertinent data, including leaks, malware distribution, initial access sales, and exploit trade.

• Generate high-quality intelligence reports, alerts, and briefings designed for both technical and executive audiences.

• Collaborate with product, research, and exposure teams to enhance findings with external data and client relevance.

• Uphold robust operational security (OPSEC) protocols during the collection of intelligence and interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in threat intelligence or cyber investigations, specifically focused on dark web or underground threat monitoring.

• Strong understanding of dark web platforms such as TOR, I2P, and decentralized forums.

• Knowledge of OSINT techniques, operational tools (e.g., Maltego, Recon-ng), and data enrichment methodologies.

• Capability to identify and interpret threat actor behaviors, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and pertinent geopolitical or industry trends.

• Excellent writing and analytical communication skills, with the ability to produce both tactical alerts and strategic reports.

• Experience in conducting HUMINT or dark web engagements securely and ethically.

• Proficiency in foreign languages relevant to threat actors (e.g., Russian, Arabic, Mandarin) is a notable advantage.

• Familiarity with cybercrime ecosystems (initial access brokers, ransomware affiliates, data extortion groups).

• Previous experience aiding law enforcement, CTI platforms, or security product development is a plus.

• Certifications such as GIAC GCTI, CREST CTIM, or other intelligence-specific training are desirable.
