Junior Application Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide support for TD SYNNEX’s global application security and cybersecurity solutions.

• Implement essential security processes such as application security testing, vulnerability management, and threat analysis.

• Analyze security findings to identify coding vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential risk areas.

• Assist in prioritizing vulnerabilities, tracking remediation efforts, and communicating with technical teams.

• Help conduct security health assessments, compliance reviews, and KPI reporting.

• Aid in enhancing secure coding practices, process documentation, and security protocols.

• Support the automation and orchestration of processes to boost operational efficiency.

• Contribute to investigations related to possible application security incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, secure coding, or vulnerability management.

• Familiarity with common application and coding vulnerabilities, such as those listed in the OWASP Top 10.

• Basic understanding of SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, or vulnerability scanning tools.

• Knowledge of secure software development practices and the remediation of security findings.

• Basic programming or scripting skills, preferably in Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar languages.

• Capability to analyze security findings, evaluate risk, and communicate effectively with technical teams.

• Strong attention to detail, an analytical mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a global, cross-functional environment.
