Threat Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Foster robust relationships with fraud prevention contacts within the BioCatch customer community.

• Offer subject matter expertise to clients to enhance the utilization of BioCatch solutions in alignment with strategic objectives.

• Collaborate with customers and BioCatch Data Science to enhance fraud detection capabilities while ensuring minimal friction for legitimate users.

• Utilize data-driven analyses to demonstrate the value of BioCatch in proof-of-value and pilot initiatives.

• Educate prospective and new clients on BioCatch and Behavioral Biometrics to address significant challenges and use cases.

• Work closely with clients to implement rules for urgent fraud threats.

• Guide customers towards best practices.

• Serve as the customer advocate internally to shape product strategy and development.

• Assist Data Science research on emerging threats such as Account Takeover, Account Opening, Remote Access Scams, Social Engineering Scams, and Mule detection.

• Provide reporting and insights regarding fraud detection performance.

• Share field insights with Sales Enablement and contribute thought leadership in the domain of fraud.

• Deliver subject matter expert support to Sales for new client acquisitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• Proficiency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

• Experience in fraud departments of financial institutions and/or with fraud monitoring tools.

• Background in working within cross-functional teams.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL.

• Familiarity with Python and/or R is a plus.

• Understanding of statistical modeling techniques.

• Excellent presentation skills, with a proven track record of engaging diverse audiences.

• Strong business acumen and customer relationship management skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

• Self-motivated and quick learner.

• Professional demeanor.

• Willingness to travel within the LATAM region to meet clients and lead onsite workshops (20%).
