This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee inventory planning, master scheduling, materials handling, and inventory turnover initiatives across various distribution centers.

• Facilitate supply and demand coordination across multiple business divisions.

• Examine data and trends to create forecasting models, stocking strategies, and inventory policies.

• Drive enhancements in policies, processes, and systems related to materials management.

• Formulate objectives and action plans that align with the company's goals.

• Lead or assist in logistics projects, ensuring effective management of timelines, deliverables, and communication with stakeholders.

• Independently resolve complex logistics and supply chain challenges.

• Develop and enforce inventory and materials management policies, procedures, and systems.

• Collaborate with procurement, operations, sales, and finance teams.

• Mentor and offer technical guidance to junior analysts.

• Track inventory turnover, service levels, and forecasting accuracy; provide insights to management.

• Assist with audits and administrative controls to ensure compliance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Highly skilled professional with extensive expertise in logistics and supply chain management.

• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.

• Background in inventory planning, demand forecasting, master scheduling, and materials management.

• Proficient in supply chain planning systems, including ERP/WMS platforms.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or data analysis tools.

• Experience with forecasting or inventory optimization software is preferred.

• Capability to coordinate cross-functional activities and influence stakeholders without direct authority.

• Proven experience in leading projects or initiatives.

• Previous experience in mentoring or providing technical guidance is preferred.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• 3–5 years of pertinent experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory/materials management, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related discipline is preferred.

• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

• A background check may be required.

• Willingness to travel 10% of the time.
