Third Party Liability Claims Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +27 more states.

📋 Description

• Review accounts assigned to litigation to gather insurance details and attorney representation.

• Evaluate and allocate new accounts to ascertain if a lien can be submitted.

• Execute all necessary actions to proceed with lien filing.

• Communicate with attorneys and adjusters about case updates and protections.

• Dispatch bills, liens, and pertinent information to attorneys and insurance providers.

• Analyze and manage adjuster-only accounts to file liens or monitor settlements.

• Liaise with insurance carriers about eligibility and deadlines for timely filing.

• Oversee liability elective accounts for providers requesting settlement tracking while adhering to filing deadlines.

• Review accounts to establish whether a lien can be submitted.

• Transfer accounts to other members of the litigation team when appropriate.

• Undertake special projects as assigned.

• Must reside in the United States within a state that is approved as listed in the posting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to produce precise work with attention to detail while handling claims, often with minimal supervision.

• Skill in organizing and prioritizing tasks based on situational demands.

• Proven professional and personal judgment.

• Capacity to manage stress and efficiently analyze and resolve issues.

• Basic understanding of relevant legal principles.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.

• Successful completion of employment history verification and background checks.

• A reliable internet connection with home internet speeds exceeding 20 Mbps for downloads and 10 Mbps for uploads.
