
Therapist – IOP, Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct orientations for new patients in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), outlining program structure, expectations, and available resources.
• Initiate discharge planning upon admission, ensuring connections to outpatient providers, community resources, and payor-approved step-down services.
• Record collateral contacts, discharge coordination, and case management activities in accordance with CMS and commercial payor standards.
• Facilitate psychotherapy sessions, along with process and skills-based groups (such as DBT skills and relapse prevention).
• Engage in weekly case conferences, offering psychosocial and systems-level insights to enhance treatment planning.
• Monitor engagement, discharge, and readmission metrics; communicate trends to the Clinic IOP Director for quality improvement initiatives.
• Aid in the revision of safety plans and the activation of crisis escalation pathways as required.
• 3-5 years of experience as a licensed practitioner.
• Current clinical licensure in California.
• Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms and conducting remote clinical work.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in California.
• Engage in progressive psychiatric practices—incorporating psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and interventional treatments.

• Play a role in the development and innovation of specialized psychiatric programs in Orange County.
