Therapist, Clinical Quality Peer Educator – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess the clinical documentation of therapists to ensure compliance with Headway's clinical quality standards.

• Analyze initial assessments (90791) and progress notes for deficiencies that fall short of industry standards for safe and high-quality patient care.

• Evaluate clinical decision-making processes and the application of evidence-based treatment methods.

• Conduct quality-assessment tasks, including calibration exercises and inter-rater reliability rounds.

• Offer both asynchronous and live one-on-one remediation support to providers as needed.

• Mentor providers using education-focused communication related to documentation expectations, patient safety, and quality standards.

• Critically assess AI-assisted review outputs and deliver structured feedback to enhance the rubric and model.

• Carry out review and documentation tasks within Headway's designated systems while complying with HIPAA, privacy, and confidentiality regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a licensed therapist or professional counselor.

• Possess an independent, unrestricted license.

• Have at least 3 years of direct therapy experience.

• Experience in conducting quality chart reviews or audits for healthcare delivery organizations is required.

• Proven experience in coaching or training clinicians on documentation that meets clinical care standards.

• Ability to critically analyze AI-assisted review tools and provide organized feedback.

• Exceptional communication and educational skills.

• Experience in presenting information to large and diverse audiences.

• Capacity to provide supportive rather than punitive feedback.

• Comfortable adapting to healthcare technology platforms and changing workflows.

• Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week is necessary.

• Must establish or possess an existing LLC or S-Corp.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
