This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
β’ Under general supervision, the Therapist applies their extensive knowledge and skills acquired through education and experience to conduct responsible and challenging professional casework.
β’ Engages in intensive therapy that addresses complex social issues and develops treatment plans.
β’ May carry out a variety of social work functions, including assessment interviews, counseling, or case evaluations.
β’ Identifies suitable treatment methods and/or offers additional social services to individuals, groups, or families.
β’ May also facilitate referrals to relevant community services or financial assistance programs.
β’ Delivers clear and accurate interpretations of program guidelines through a client orientation program while ensuring proper record-keeping in accordance with organizational, state, and federal standards.
β’ Minimum Degree Required: Master's degree
β’ Required Disciplines: Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
β’ A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health setting as a Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
β’ Previous experience with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and recovery is preferred.
β’ A valid driver's license is required.
β’ Must hold one of the following licenses: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Psychologist (LP), Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC), Limited License Master Social Worker (LLMSW), or Limited License Psychologist (LLP).
β’ QMHP Adults certification of 5 hours within 90 days of employment and annually thereafter, or QMHP Children certification of 24 hours within 90 days of employment and annually thereafter.
β’ CAFAS certification is required if the position involves child therapy.
β’ May require a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC or CAADC-DP) or MCBAP Certified Addiction Counselor, or Certified Advanced Addiction and Drug Counselor based on the assigned functional area, with the ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
