This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers within the therapeutic sector.
• Respond to customer needs and pinpoint opportunities for ecosystem and therapeutic area strategies at the point of care.
• Oversee the complete experience for designated customers and accounts.
• Facilitate clinical and non-clinical decision-making at the point of care.
• Provide educational support on both clinical and non-clinical subjects.
• Create solutions for intricate accounts within academic, delivery network-focused, and therapeutic-area-specific ecosystems.
• Represent Genentech products in an ethical and professional manner using approved materials.
• Ensure product accessibility and inform customers about product details, appropriate usage, patient assistance, and reimbursement resources.
• Direct customers to suitable experts when necessary.
• Gather local insights and trends to aid in national strategy formulation.
• Promote on-label clinical demand and enhance business within the ecosystem.
• Travel overnight as necessary and drive extensively throughout the designated territory.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or a clinical field.
• Prior cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences (pharmaceutical or biotechnology) or a similar field, engaging with key stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem is essential.
• At least 6 years of experience in a sales position involving healthcare professionals.
• Experience in representing multiple products and navigating a complex healthcare system environment.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and mentor colleagues or others.
• Experience in immunology is preferred.
• Background in account management.
• Capacity to adapt and learn about new disease states.
• Consistently met financial and quantitative targets as well as qualitative objectives.
• Expertise in addressing operational challenges related to healthcare product delivery, including reimbursement and supply issues.
• Ability to comply with external laws, codes, and corporate policies in the healthcare sector.
• Must reside in or near Madison or Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
• Must be able to drive extensively using either a company-provided or personal vehicle.
• Must meet motor vehicle record eligibility requirements for driving on company business.
• Incentive compensation is calculated and disbursed according to the relevant Incentive Compensation Plan.
