Test Engineering Team Lead – m/f/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Evaluate product requirements and specifications to formulate a thorough testing strategy and detailed testing plans.

• Guide the team in functional testing, performance testing, compatibility testing, security testing, and stress testing.

• Detect vulnerabilities in current products and propose targeted optimization strategies.

• Facilitate the resolution of compatibility challenges between fixed-line devices and German network providers.

• Promote the growth of your team members through focused coaching.

• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and project management teams.

• Continuously enhance testing processes and quality standards.

• Keep abreast of testing technologies and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in testing fixed-line technologies (DSL/GPON) and previous experience leading projects autonomously.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in testing network devices—particularly routers—with at least 3 years in a leadership or project management capacity.

• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, VoIP, multicast, and Wi-Fi protocols, along with a strong technical grasp of network testing.

• Skilled in using common network testing tools such as network analyzers, traffic generators, and protocol analyzers.

• Effective communicator with experience in cross-functional collaboration and confident leadership in an international context.

• Proven track record in optimizing testing processes and sustainably enhancing product quality.

• Proficient in both German and English at a business level.
