Test Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate user requirements alongside product architecture and design to determine testing needs.

• Create and document test cases for both functional and non-functional testing.

• Oversee the development and execution of automated tests and test suites.

• Conduct both automated and manual testing as required.

• Leverage cutting-edge testing technologies to formulate testing strategies.

• Support the evaluation of product quality and readiness for release.

• Clearly articulate technical details and methods for reproducing issues to document defects identified in the code.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies.

• Keep the Agile team updated on any delays in testing activities or issues arising from discrepancies.

• Exhibit confidence and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software testing is preferred.

• A genuine passion for quality assurance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to break down complex problems and conduct root cause analyses.

• Practical experience in software testing or development on Linux and Windows operating systems.

• A motivated team player with a keen interest in continual learning.

• A degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred.

• A solid grasp of testing methodologies and principles.

• Familiarity with Object-Oriented programming languages such as Python or C# .Net.

• Knowledge of database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, etc.

• Experience with automation tools such as UFT, CodedUI, or similar testing frameworks.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

• Experience utilizing defect tracking tools.
