This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

• Plan testing phases and create testing concepts.

• Design and implement manual testing procedures.

• Create and sustain automated testing scripts for UI, API, and SAP GUI evaluations.

• Choose suitable automation frameworks and tools based on product requirements.

• Ensure that test automation code adheres to principles of clean coding, maintainability, and reusability.

• Work collaboratively with developers and product owners to establish testing strategies and acceptance criteria.

• Analyze requirements to identify automation opportunities throughout the test pyramid.

• Provide clear and actionable reports on defects.

• Approximately 3-6 years of experience in Test Automation.

• Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.

• Practical experience with the Playwright automation framework.

• Experience in SAP GUI testing and automation associated with SAP GUI.

• Strong knowledge of API testing and tools like Bruno.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools.

• Basic understanding of DevOps principles and containerization (Docker).

• Comprehensive understanding of software testing methodologies (ISTQB), the test pyramid, and test design techniques.

• Capability to define automation strategies that align with business objectives.

• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.

• Verbal and written proficiency in German (preferred).

• Professional background in software testing, quality engineering, or software development.

• Experience with test automation in agile product development settings.

• Background in Financial Services/Banking is advantageous.

• ISTQB certification or equivalent qualifications are a plus.
