Test Automation Engineer – Android

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold automated test cases, execute testing suites, analyze and diagnose reported bugs, and ensure the overall quality of the system before production release.

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites via continuous integration to provide valuable feedback.

• Ensure the stability of test infrastructure within non-production environments.

• Engage in troubleshooting and issue triaging with various teams to facilitate root cause identification and resolution.

• Collaborate closely with software developers to produce software artifacts such as test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports.

• Work across functional areas with internal engineering partners in a disciplined agile environment.

• Estimate personal testing tasks and operate effectively with minimal supervision while demonstrating an excellent team attitude.

• Influence the entire engineering organization regarding unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in developing automation frameworks for mobile/web applications, particularly in social media or related domains.

• High proficiency in testing methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, test documentation procedures, and QA best practices.

• Ability to independently create test plans based on specified requirements.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Capability to identify the impact areas in the application based on requirements to conduct ad-hoc and exploratory testing.

• Familiarity with iOS and Android testing environments.

• Aptitude for thriving in a fast-paced development environment.

• Strong creative problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum SDLC, and proficiency in utilizing tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage the testing lifecycle.
