Test Automation Engineer – AI Network, Observability Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain effective automated testing frameworks and test suites for network and observability platforms.

• Establish testing strategies for functional, integration, performance, scalability, and regression testing.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to grasp requirements, design test cases, and pinpoint potential risks.

• Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and accelerate delivery cycles.

• Evaluate test outcomes, determine root causes of failures, and provide actionable insights to development teams.

• Promote quality initiatives throughout the platform, including metrics for test coverage, automation, and reporting.

• Utilize observability tools (logs, metrics, traces) to verify network behaviors and ensure platform reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 2 years of practical experience in networking and load testing.

• Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Go.

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium/Playwright, Pytest, Robot Framework, JUnit).

• Preferred: Knowledge of network technologies, protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, SNMP), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Experience with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to influence quality practices across teams.
