Test Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Design, prepare, and implement both manual and automated test cases for Visa, Mastercard, and EFTPOS payment systems.

• Perform end-to-end, integration, and user acceptance testing for card payment solutions and digital banking platforms.

• Validate transaction processing, card issuance, and lifecycle activities in accordance with business and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with developers and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, quality assurance, and requirement traceability.

• Identify and document defects, oversee resolution processes, and maintain thorough test documentation.

• Assist automation efforts by pinpointing test cases that are suitable for regression and continuous testing.

• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, APRA, and other regulatory standards within the payments sector.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies within an Agile delivery model.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical experience in the Cards domain, ideally gained through large-scale transformation projects in a banking context, with proven skills in both manual and automated testing.

• Familiarity with core banking platforms and Card Management Systems (CMS), including the development or maintenance of automation suites to validate complete card flows and system integrations.

• Understanding of PCI-DSS standards and regulatory compliance requirements, with experience in supporting automation to validate compliance controls and minimize manual regression efforts.

• Proficiency in working with logs, backend validations, and data checks to assist with defect analysis.

• Experience in SIT/E2E testing environments with multiple upstream and downstream dependencies.

• Exposure to API and UI testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, Playwright, or similar applications.

• Experience with core banking systems is highly desirable.
