Territory Sales Representative – Eastern Canada

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Drive top-line sales by fostering relationships with pet retailers across Eastern Canada.

• Work collaboratively with distributor representatives through ride-alongs and training initiatives.

• Ensure effective product placement and enhance brand visibility within stores.

• Build, nurture, and sustain relationships with both potential and existing clients to promote and expand both brands, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly coverage based on account classification.

• Implement a territory sales strategy and route aimed at driving sales growth, profitability, brand development, and increased brand awareness.

• Identify and establish new independent pet specialty accounts, assisting with onboarding, product assortment, and initial order fulfillment.

• Introduce and promote new products, seasonal programs, and marketing campaigns to enhance distribution and sales velocity.

• Actively represent the company at trade shows and industry events alongside distributors and retailers, while supporting retailers with merchandising and in-store visibility standards.

• Address and resolve retailer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.

• Provide on-site and phone training, along with in-store demonstrations, to retailers on product advantages and effective consumer selling techniques.

• Offer nutritional knowledge and product education that aligns with both Primal feeding discussions and PureBites treating suggestions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in territory management sales, preferably within the pet specialty or pet food sectors.

• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrated success in building relationships, influencing in-store decisions, and securing new business.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation capabilities.

• Highly organized, proactive, and adept at managing multiple priorities with minimal oversight.

• Residency in Québec is required to apply for this position.
