This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Drives sales performance to ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded.
• Maintains advanced knowledge of products and disease states to effectively engage with Gastroenterologists, Primary Care Physicians, APPs, and office staff, delivering clinically focused messages about a new treatment option while addressing customer concerns.
• Continuously enhances understanding of market dynamics and access opportunities within the territory, facilitating pull-through by effectively communicating with healthcare professionals and office personnel.
• Collaborates closely with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists (SAS) to develop effective territory business plans aimed at achieving sales objectives.
• Works alongside peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to drive operational execution and share best practices.
• Meets all administrative management responsibilities, including effective use of CRM systems and accurate expense reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Two or more years of successful medical sales experience (e.g., dental, medical device, laboratory, diagnostics) or one year of pharmaceutical sales experience; GI Specialty experience is preferred.
• Proven and consistent history of success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Demonstrated success in utilizing all available resources (marketing, market access pull-through, and technology solutions).
• Proven business acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships with office staff and other individuals within the customer network.
• Demonstrated success in both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Some overnight travel within the territory may be required based on geography.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may also be necessary.
