This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive sales performance to ensure that sales objectives are achieved or surpassed.
• Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings and disease states to effectively engage Gastroenterologists, Primary Care Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and office personnel.
• Deliver clinically relevant messages that introduce a new treatment option while addressing customer concerns.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of territory market dynamics and identify market access opportunities.
• Enhance pull-through by effectively communicating with healthcare professionals and office staff.
• Create territory business plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists to meet sales objectives.
• Collaborate with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to drive operational efficiency and share best practices.
• Fulfill administrative management responsibilities, including effective use of CRM systems and expense reporting.
• Promote Phathom's gastrointestinal disease treatments to healthcare professionals within the assigned territory.
• Report to the Regional Sales Manager and work closely with commercial colleagues to achieve territory, regional, and corporate objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of successful medical sales experience or one year in pharmaceutical sales; GI specialty experience is preferred.
• Proven and consistent success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage marketing strategies, market access pull-through, and technology solutions effectively.
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
• Ability to cultivate professional relationships with office staff and others within the customer network.
• Proven success in both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Occasional overnight travel within the territory may be necessary based on geography.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be required.
