This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Create and execute effective sales strategies to meet revenue and market share goals.
• Evaluate market trends and customer requirements to discover new business prospects.
• Engage professional technicians both in person and remotely to secure business for our distributors and enroll them in our installer network.
• Partner with warehouse distributors to increase sales of PowerStop products, train sales staff, manage inventory, and verify warranty parts.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key customers, clients, and partners.
• Respond swiftly to inquiries from installers and distributors, maintain precise records of installer interactions, and update all transactions.
• Tackle customer issues, resolve concerns, and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the sales team.
• Develop and oversee the budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation, tracking expenses, and implementing cost control measures while maximizing return on investment.
• Regularly assess and analyze sales reports to pinpoint areas for enhancement and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new product advancements, sharing pertinent information with the sales team, and ensuring that all sales activities adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of sales experience, ideally in the automotive aftermarket sector.
• Understanding of automotive repair shop functions, roles within the shop, and their impact on the broader automotive landscape.
• Experience collaborating with warehouse distributors and their representatives.
• Familiarity with ACES/PIES is advantageous.
• Automotive technical knowledge, especially regarding brakes, is a plus.
• Outstanding organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and capability to interpret and analyze large volumes of automotive data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Willingness to travel within designated territories is necessary.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis.
