This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho.
• Develop and implement a territory strategy to achieve sustained growth across dairy and beef sectors.
• Generate new business: Identify, target, and secure sales with dairy operations, dealer outlets, nutritionists, and feed channels.
• Optimize distribution: Collaborate with distribution networks to enhance product flow and market reach.
• Focus on outcomes rather than products: Present solutions that enhance intake, health, and profitability for producers.
• Showcase product applications, offer technical assistance, and train customers on effective product utilization.
• Execute on-site: Spend a minimum of 3+ days weekly on farms, building relationships and closing deals in partnership with distribution networks.
• Drive engagement: Maintain a structured pipeline, follow up on all leads, and create new opportunities.
• Represent the brand: Participate in tradeshows, producer meetings, and industry events as assigned and approved by management.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical and direct sales experience (preferably in livestock, agriculture, or a related field), with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Experience in facilitating training sessions to inform clients on product usage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to new challenges, and ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in animal science or a related discipline is preferred.
• Previous experience in the animal health sector is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, close deals, and expand accounts.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• High degree of self-accountability and discipline.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events (including on-farm visits, tradeshows, and training sessions).
