This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Establish and enhance relationships with plumbing wholesalers, plumbers, builders, contractors, and other trade professionals in your assigned territory.
• Expand an existing book of business by discovering opportunities to increase product usage and strengthen customer collaborations.
• Create and implement territory sales strategies that align with annual sales goals and foster long-term business growth.
• Showcase merchandising, marketing, and promotional programs that deliver value to customers and enhance market visibility.
• Provide outstanding customer service through regular account visits, proactive communication, and prompt follow-up.
• Inform customers through product demonstrations, training sessions, and participation in trade shows and industry events.
• Collaborate with Territory Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Regional leadership to support wholesale and builder initiatives.
• Maintain continuous communication with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and uncover new business opportunities.
• Leverage CRM tools and company sales processes to effectively manage customer relationships, territory activities, and sales prospects.
• Relay customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence to internal teams to aid in future product and business strategies.
• Oversee territory travel and administrative duties while aligning with overall business objectives.
• A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, ideally within the plumbing, building materials, construction products, or a similar industry.
• Proven experience in building and nurturing relationships with plumbing wholesalers, distributors, plumbers, builders, contractors, or other channel partners.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities, with a knack for establishing trust and credibility among diverse customer groups.
• Experience in presenting products, conducting customer training, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives.
• Ability to work independently, effectively manage a territory, and adapt priorities to meet customer and business needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
