Temporary Data Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Become a part of Baker Tilly's BT Prep Team as a Seasonal Data Specialist, assisting with the entire data workflow.

• Utilize meticulous data management, analytical skills, human judgment, and a keen eye for detail to facilitate the transition of tax-related information from document intake through to tax return preparation.

• Collaborate with scanned tax documents, executing each necessary phase to ready information for subsequent use.

• Adjust to procedural changes and contribute to the delivery of dependable data to the teams that rely on it.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous participation in a BT Prep Tax Season is required.

• A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Availability: A minimum of 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 7 am-7 pm CST).

• Proficient computer skills and the capability to quickly learn new digital and AI-assisted tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to follow instructions while adapting to changes.

• A data-centric, AI-ready mindset: inquisitive about new tools, comfortable with change, and dedicated to critically evaluating automated outcomes.

• Ability to manage multiple steps of a workflow, transition between task types, and meet both productivity and quality standards.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to pose clear questions and articulate issues effectively.

• Capable of working efficiently within a remote team environment and independently when necessary.
