This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take ownership of the architecture, design, and successful implementation of large-scale telco cloud platforms utilizing OpenShift and automation frameworks.
• Gain the trust of prospective clients by effectively delivering discovery, analysis, and design workshops that shape and influence their use cases and architectural design decisions in alignment with Red Hat's solutions.
• Guide consulting teams through the successful execution of customer pilot projects and production deployments.
• Design, create, and deliver content that empowers the broader Red Hat organization to sell (pre-sales), service (consulting), and support (CEE) our Telco solutions on a large scale.
• Collaborate closely with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s offerings.
• Contribute to the creation of repeatable methodologies and tools aimed at scaling Red Hat’s service capabilities, promoting consistent customer engagements, and minimizing delivery risks.
• Exhibit thought leadership within the Telco community by producing high-quality white papers, webinars, and speaking at leading industry conferences.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Telecommunications, network-related Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent industry certification.
• In-depth knowledge of modern telco networks and protocols along with their implementation in software-based solutions.
• Extensive experience in designing and delivering cloud and automation technologies for telco network platforms through distributed cross-functional teams.
• Comprehensive technical experience and hands-on skills with open-source cloud and virtualization technologies, including OpenShift, OpenStack, Software Defined Storage, and Ansible Automation, all within a telco network context.
• Strong background in consultative customer engagements with a major software vendor, systems integrator, network equipment provider, or telco services provider.
• A flexible, creative, and solution-oriented sales mindset with the ability to thrive in a complex and innovative environment involving diverse cross-functional teams and multiple products and services.
• The capability to self-study and rapidly acquire and apply knowledge of new technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, with substantial experience presenting to C-level executives at large organizations.
• A willingness to travel frequently to client locations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
