Tekla Structural Detailer – Draftsman, Steel Detailer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create highly intricate 3D models and technical drawings for steel and concrete constructions utilizing Tekla Structures.

• Generate precise part, assembly, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.

• Examine design documents, plans, and specifications to confirm dimensions and address discrepancies.

• Collaborate closely with internal supervisors and technical teams through Microsoft Teams to update progress and manage project workflows.

• Uphold high standards of first-pass approval by adhering to specific structural steelwork fabrication standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive proficiency in Tekla Structures with demonstrated experience in constructing both steel and concrete models.

• Strong background in producing clear part, assembly, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.

• Comprehensive understanding of structural design principles, technical drawing presentation, and manufacturing/fabrication processes.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills for effective collaboration with international teams.

• Proficient in Office 365, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with Australian Structural Standards or a willingness to adapt to Australian conventions is advantageous.
