This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Installation, repair, calibration, support, and commissioning of GPS and LPS systems for guiding and automating construction machinery in Northern Spain.
• Collaboration with team members to resolve incidents.
• Communication via email or Teams in English with our Professional Services department for reporting incidents or improvements, requesting assistance, etc.
• Review of equipment to be installed prior to each installation.
• Fabrication of cables/harnesses according to schematics.
• Self-training through our online platform "My Topcon Now" and other tools provided by the company.
• Creation of content such as guides and installation manuals.
• Knowledge of electronics, electricity, electromechanics, and hydraulic systems sufficient to perform the job.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in surveying and construction machinery control systems: Excavators, Dozers, Motor Graders, tractors, etc.
• Positive and solution-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work with technology.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong communication skills with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to read and understand component design drawings.
• Ability to read and comprehend wiring schematic drawings.
• Proficiency in using testing equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, etc.
• Computer skills in the basic Microsoft Office suite.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Customer awareness and focus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English – Basic technical orientation that allows for understanding technical documentation (manuals, guides, specifications).
• Training for end clients, distributors, and external collaborators on the systems manufactured by our brand.
• Telephone and remote support for colleagues, clients, distributors, and collaborators.
• Field assistance throughout the Northern region to repair faults, conduct equipment calibrations, provide training, etc.
• Smooth communication with the support and regional sales manager to optimize weekly planning.
• Participation in periodic training sessions at our training center located in Concordia Sulla Secchia (Modena – Italy).
