This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Track advancements in technology related to solar modules, cells, wafers, inverters, storage systems, and new innovations.

• Convert technical advancements into market-relevant insights, emphasizing their effects on cost, performance, adoption, and risk.

• Differentiate genuine technological advancements from marketing assertions by identifying technical constraints and failure modes.

• Perform structured research on technology performance, reliability, and innovation roadmaps throughout the value chain.

• Assist in the creation of benchmarks and comparative evaluations of products, suppliers, and emerging solutions.

• Maintain organized datasets and technology reference materials to aid ongoing analysis and reporting.

• Compose high-quality technology-centric reports, briefings, and thought leadership materials for both internal and external audiences.

• Offer technical and analytical support for client advisory projects and discussions related to renewable energy initiatives.

• Execute technology analysis and prepare reports concerning the renewables sector.

• Carry out comprehensive industry and market research, including benchmarking and comparative evaluations.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.

• Certifications in financial analysis or equivalent qualifications are preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• Strong knowledge of solar PV and/or battery storage technologies, including performance metrics, degradation, and failure modes.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical subjects clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proficient in English, with an advanced level equivalent to C1 (operational proficiency) and strong writing capabilities.

• Strong computer skills and proficient use of MS Windows.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Solid understanding of business analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI) for performance monitoring.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
