This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee and evaluate security alerts (EDR, SIEM)
• Examine incidents and manage the response efforts
• Enhance and refine detection rules
• Aid in strengthening environments (endpoints, cloud)
• Prepare incident reports and document procedures
• Engage in incident response drills
• Demonstrated experience in operational cybersecurity (SOC, incident response, or similar roles)
• Expertise with an EDR (SentinelOne is highly advantageous)
• Strong understanding of a SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel, or similar)
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK and NIST frameworks
• Proficient in French, both orally and in writing
• Willingness to work overlapping hours with the Quebec time zone (GMT-5)
• Security certifications (AZ-500, Security+, CEH, GCIA) are beneficial
• Experience with Azure / Microsoft Defender is advantageous
• Background in an MSP or multi-client setting is a plus
• Professional working proficiency in English is preferred
