Senior Medical Economics Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Write SQL queries for data warehouses that encompass clinical operations and medical claims data to fulfill analytic requests and provide summarized outcomes and insights.

• Create summary-level reports to aid operations leaders in tracking care team performance and identifying areas of achievement or potential improvement.

• Utilize reporting and supporting data to assess operations performance and uncover insights regarding clinical, demographic, and medical cost trends and their impact on outcomes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish technical and business requirements for reporting and analytic requests.

• Design reporting and communication materials to ensure consistent interpretation of program performance for DaVita IKC leadership.

• Prepare executive-level communications, primarily using PowerPoint, and tailor communications for relevant internal stakeholders (clinical, finance, operations).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, public health, health informatics, analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in business or financial analysis; healthcare experience preferred.

• 3-5 years of SQL writing experience required, with Snowflake experience preferred.

• Proficiency in Tableau or similar analytics tools is required.

• Significant experience with Excel, including data manipulation and pivot tables.

• Knowledge of Cerner is preferred.
