Technischer Experte im Außendienst – PowerGen Stationary

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Global support for customers, distributors, and service dealers in the field of engines and combined heat and power systems.

• Execution of troubleshooting, service, and maintenance operations.

• Conducting damage analyses and on-site repairs.

• Fault detection and optimization of plant operations.

• Assisting the product support office with disturbances through remote access, evaluation and analysis of field problems.

• Advising and supporting the service and sales organizations on service and maintenance queries.

• Independently developing solutions for technical issues on-site.

• Onboarding new service partners in the regions of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for mtu gas systems.

• Pre- and post-work assignments (possible from home office).

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed training as a technician or master in the mechanical or mechatronic field, or a comparable qualification.

• Experience in customer service and proficient interaction with customers and service partners.

• Strong knowledge in the area of internal combustion engines.

• Solid understanding of control and regulation technology is an advantage.

• Experience in combined heat and power technology or with heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems is a plus.

• Good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written; additional foreign languages are beneficial.

• Proficient in computer applications.

• Strong organizational skills, systematic and independent work approach.

• High flexibility, readiness to engage, and motivation.

• Very high willingness to travel (90%) domestically and internationally.
