Technicien principal, Détection de gaz et instrumentation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional customer support and advanced technical assistance within Honeywell’s Process Measurement & Control Service Team.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve complex technical issues encountered by the field team, analyzing root causes and replicating issues as necessary.

• Troubleshoot hardware and software to address equipment problems effectively.

• Offer direct support to both internal and external customers.

• Act as a liaison between Field Service and Technical Support/Engineering teams.

• Generate timely, detailed, and accurate analysis reports.

• Provide technical services and customer solutions.

• Prepare service quotations and oversee service documentation.

• Schedule and coordinate service appointments efficiently.

• Manage challenging projects to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Ensure team technical competency and assist in developing training programs for the Field Organization.

• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

• Guarantee proper documentation and recording of all activities and communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in field service engineering or a similar role.

• A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.

• Proficiency in French and functional English is necessary.

• Extensive experience in customer and product support is essential.

• Experience in the industry is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and leadership skills are important.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com, SharePoint, SAP, and Excel is advantageous.

• Excellent organizational skills are a must.

• Capability to train and motivate others is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, is required.

• A DEC, Engineering degree, or equivalent work experience is valued.

• A High School Diploma + DEP is also valued.
