
Technician 1 – Temperature Control, Major Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate as a member of a specialized technician team involved in various projects such as large-scale events, Utilities customer support, and refinery turnaround teams.
• Install, commission, maintain, and repair Aggreko generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution systems, HVAC units, and/or oil-free air systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions on Major Projects and within service centers.
• Calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements utilizing mathematical formulas.
• Interpret and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Uphold and advocate for safe working conditions in line with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with a remote operations center to avert failures and contribute to the design of proactive failure notifications and compliance processes.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in power generator operations, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Certification from the Electrical Generating System Association or similar credentials is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with metering instruments such as multimeters, ammeters, and hygrometers.
• May need to obtain and keep a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer specifications.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to lift or move objects, generally weighing less than 75 lbs.
• Availability to adhere to the assigned schedule, travel to work sites as required, and be on standby outside of regular shifts.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods and navigate uneven terrain with functional balance.
• Capacity to move limbs and spine through a functional range of motion for safe operations from ground level to overhead.
• Good finger dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and grip strength for safely handling tools, stair railings, and ladders.
• Ability to successfully complete the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes lifting 60 lbs., pushing/pulling 80 lbs., carrying 60 lbs., climbing stairs and ladders, climbing while carrying 15 lbs., stooping, kneeling, and squatting.
