This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Writing technical documentation, not focused on transaction processing. Samples of technical writing will be requested if selected for an interview.
β’ Offer functional and/or technical writing assistance to address internal program inquiries.
β’ Collaborate with other team members as needed to resolve questions or issues promptly. Emphasis on ensuring proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up.
β’ Create and compose original documents.
β’ Develop, review, and edit documentation related to technical IT products, policies, security standards, processes, procedures, and deployments.
β’ Conduct relevant research, perform data analysis, and generate reports.
β’ Communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and Subject Matter Experts to outline processes, document them, and publish Standard Operating Procedures.
β’ Ensure the completion and accuracy of work products are maintained.
β’ Clearly convey technical details to a diverse audience, both in written and verbal forms.
β’ Must be a U.S. Citizen.
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical Writing.
β’ Strong command of the English language.
β’ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a willingness to engage.
β’ Capable of managing time effectively while working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
β’ Eagerness to learn new skills.
β’ Strong interest in cybersecurity and the security challenges within information technology.
β’ Proficiency in Technical Writing.
β’ Detail-oriented approach.
β’ Strong problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent critical thinking abilities.
β’ Technical proficiency.
β’ Familiarity with government compliance standards.
