This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Designing and developing high-performance systems, including but not limited to: storage, networking, virtualization, and container runtimes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding technical expertise that allows for in-depth exploration, resulting in meaningful impacts on the world, whether achieved over three years or twenty.

• Proven experience in constructing high-performance distributed systems at scale.

• Solid foundational knowledge of low-level Linux components: kernel, drivers, filesystems, containers, and PCIe.

• Background in performance engineering.

• Hands-on experience with Rust, C, or Go in a production setting.

• Willingness to engage in on-call rotations and address production incidents.

• Familiarity with QEMU/KVM, eBPF, RDMA, or BIOS/UEFI internals is a plus, though not mandatory.
