This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Identify, engage, and connect with potential customers, including generating new logo and whitespace opportunities in partnership with Central Sales, to create and qualify new business leads through proactive technical hunting, ensuring structured communication with Central Sales for future account management when necessary.
• Plan, implement, and oversee technical demonstrations and trials to confirm customer fit and expedite adoption.
• Propel deal advancement by outlining solution compatibility, quantifying customer impact, and resolving technical objections to enhance win rates through technical sales and value positioning, showcasing the defined product and service portfolio to illustrate technical alignment with customer needs.
• Collaborate with Central Sales to develop customer proposals and commercial offers by providing essential technical insights that influence deal closure.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical assistance to ensure adoption and foster repeat revenue, facilitating a seamless transition to Central Sales once adoption is confirmed, working in alignment with established technical support teams.
• Collect and disseminate actionable Voice-of-Customer insights (user needs, feedback, competitive signals) to shape the assigned product portfolio and improve sales enablement strategies, systematically sharing insights with Central Sales for integration into account plans.
• Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience demonstrated through past roles.
• Over 3 years of experience in technical sales, applications support, or pre-sales within a scientific or technical environment.
• Proven hunter mindset with a strong track record of identifying, advancing, and securing new opportunities.
• Solid hands-on technical skills, including conducting demos, trials, and customer assessments.
• Excellent consultative communication abilities, capable of articulating technical and commercial value to a variety of stakeholders.
• Proficient in CRM systems and structured sales methodologies, with a strong emphasis on documentation discipline.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time as this position is predominantly focused on external customers.
