This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conducts research, recruits, screens, interviews, refers job candidates, negotiates compensation, and deploys resources for VMS client job vacancies.
• Serves as the primary contact for order fulfillment with all VMS clients.
• Order fulfillment encompasses, but is not limited to, distributing order fulfillment among the team and other branches, reviewing order submissions, scheduling candidate interviews, proposing offers, onboarding and orientation, and completing assignments.
• Reviews and modifies job descriptions provided by clients.
• Manages job postings as required, which includes, but is not limited to, writing and placing recruitment advertisements across various media and social media platforms, in collaboration with the Marketing Department as necessary.
• Leverages online recruiting sources and direct recruiting methods to identify and attract candidates.
• Maintains communication with clients and candidates regarding the status of open job orders.
• Initiates and manages team/branch and client intake calls for open job orders.
• Develops and sustains a network of contacts to assist in identifying and sourcing qualified candidates.
• Initiates outreach to potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings.
• Reviews resumés submitted by the team/branch for quality control, ensuring that client requirements are met prior to submission.
• Screens and refers candidates for additional cross-submission opportunities within the client's organization.
• Conducts preparatory calls and pre-interviews to ready candidates for client interviews.
• Maintains records of resumés, applicant flow, and employee selection; updates and retrieves candidate information in database systems such as eRecruit, PolicyTech, I9Advantage, and SkillSurvey.
• Collaborates with the Client Services and Operations Manager to ensure compliance with Nelson and client standards before candidate start dates.
• May participate in negotiations regarding candidate pay rates and conversion compensation structures.
• Educates candidates about job duties and responsibilities, compensation, work schedules and conditions, policies, assignment opportunities, and other relevant information; evaluates employee performance through follow-up calls to strengthen client relationships; coaches and counsels temporary employees to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.
• Acts as the main point of contact for employee relations and client issues, partnering and escalating to Client Services, Human Resources, and Operations Manager as needed.
• Stays informed on the overall activities of the contingent workforce assigned, identifying problem areas and implementing corrective procedural, client support, and other actions.
• Documents performance reports for recognition and/or disciplinary review based on client feedback.
• Remains knowledgeable about employer of record (EOR) and wage and hour compliance as it pertains to the contingent workforce; monitors quality control of applicant files to ensure adherence to organizational and governmental standards.
• Collaborates with the Client Services and Operations Manager on documentation for Unemployment and Workers Compensation claims.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Associate’s degree (A.A.) in a related field, with one to two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with VMS, ATS, and CRM tools and clients is preferred.
• Requisition management experience is preferred.
