Technical QA Analyst, Automation, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Set up test environments for access control solutions by configuring the necessary systems, devices, and rules to validate various scenarios.

• Conduct manual testing, including functional, operational, exploratory, regression, and integration tests, while considering real-world usage scenarios that involve software, hardware, and business rules.

• Design and maintain test automation to facilitate recurring validations, encompassing APIs, interfaces, access rules, logs, and events.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity in the QA process, aiding in the development of scenarios, test cases, documentation, log analysis, and the generation of test data.

• Validate integrations with devices such as controllers, turnstiles, barrier gates, facial readers, biometric devices, and RFID readers, ensuring effective communication, synchronization, and event recording.

• Record, classify, and monitor bugs, documenting evidence, reproducing failures, and confirming fixes in collaboration with technical teams.

• Assist in approvals and collaborate closely with product, development, deployment, and project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in manual testing.

• Proficient in test automation.

• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON.

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP, gateway, ping, TCP/IP).

• Capability to prepare test environments effectively.

• Familiarity with databases and SQL for conducting queries, validating records, and performing log analysis.

• Experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, Robot Framework, or similar tools.

• Ability to log bugs clearly, provide supporting evidence, and assign appropriate priorities.

• An organized, investigative, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset.
