Software Tester – Dental Billing, Quality Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure that the content and outcomes within the software are clinically and professionally accurate and are presented as anticipated in daily dental practice.

• Evaluate the software from the viewpoint of a dental practice — from data entry through to the final output.

• Verify that professional standards are accurately integrated into the software and that practice workflows are efficiently supported.

• Prioritize, document, and monitor defects.

• Assist the support team in analyzing customer feedback, replicating issues, and determining root causes.

• Offer your practical insights from everyday practice as a bridge between development, product, and support teams.

• Collaborate within an agile team consisting of software developers, product managers, testers, and support staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in German and good command of English for collaboration with colleagues internationally.

• Several years of experience in dental billing alongside administrative and organizational practice workflows.

• Strong understanding of statutory (GKV) and private (PKV) billing processes.

• A keen willingness to learn, show initiative, and have an interest in digital solutions.

• High affinity for software and a desire to develop skills in the field of software testing.

• Capability to comprehend practice workflows and pinpoint errors or discrepancies.

• Experience with practice management systems is a plus.

• Qualification as a ZMV or as a business administrator for dental practices is advantageous.
