Technical Lead – React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical and line-management guidance to your development team.

• Assume accountability for the successful execution of projects.

• Identify and address obstacles before they escalate into issues.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, DevOps, and agile methodologies within the team.

• Collaborate directly with clients, converting requirements into technical specifications.

• Shape and determine architectural decisions to guarantee scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Provide updates to clients and Nearform leadership to ensure a clear understanding of project status and facilitate informed decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering, either as a Senior Engineer leading projects and mentoring or as a Technical Lead. Ideally, you will be proficient in React for this role.

• Proven experience in working directly with clients or customers to comprehend technical requirements.

• Experience in leading software engineering teams through technical delivery, including direct line management or mentoring.

• Profound understanding of agile methodologies, best practices, and design patterns.

• In-depth knowledge of test-driven development and testing best practices.

• Strong familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Awareness of operational considerations (such as monitoring, performance testing, security, accessibility, and GDPR).

• Strong empathy and interpersonal skills.
