Technical Lead – C/Unix Batch Development, Healthcare Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the evolution and enhancement of healthcare claims solutions.

• Provide mentorship to engineers, oversee technical delivery, and collaborate across various teams.

• Take ownership of technical delivery throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to release and ongoing support.

• Direct the architecture, development, and modernization of C/Unix-based healthcare claims applications.

• Collaborate with product, business, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet client needs.

• Promote engineering excellence through code quality, testing, release readiness, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of experience in software development, including roles in technical leadership.

• Strong expertise in C, Unix/Linux, SQL, and system integration.

• Proven experience in leading development teams and delivering enterprise-level applications.

• Prior experience in healthcare claims is essential; familiarity with Gainwell Interchange is preferred.

• Understanding of SDLC, release management, and contemporary engineering practices.

• Experience with various claims bundling/editing software platforms is advantageous.
