This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist in various client projects within the Life Insurance and Annuity sector.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, business analysts, and development teams to evaluate business needs and create effective technical solutions.

• Engage in project planning, estimation, and discussions surrounding solution architecture.

• Conduct design evaluations and offer insights on application architecture, data flow, and system integration.

• Ensure compliance with Project Life Cycle Methodology, IT control policies, and corporate architecture standards.

• Create and maintain both high-level and low-level technical design documents and specifications.

• Provide technical guidance to development and support teams across both onshore and offshore locations.

• Promote code quality through code reviews, adherence to best practices, and development standards.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancement, automation, and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

• Remain updated on industry trends, technologies, and market changes related to Life Insurance and Annuity products.

• Must possess the ability to understand and utilize the latest AI capabilities through enterprise tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and in-house Models to achieve operational efficiency and high throughput.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in Life Insurance, Annuity products, and Policy Administration Systems.

• At least 6+ years of experience in development, maintenance, and support projects utilizing Mainframe technologies, ideally COBOL, DB2/SQL, C#, and .NET.

• A minimum of 6+ years of experience working with SQL databases.

• Strong comprehension of Policy Administration System architecture and design methodologies.

• Experience engaging directly with clients and managing technical delivery across distributed teams.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

• Working knowledge and understanding of AI tools and features like Skills, custom Agents, Custom instructions, MCP, hooks, etc., for operational excellence with prudent token utilization.

• Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends in the Life Insurance and Annuity domain.

• Experience with automation initiatives and contemporary software development practices.

• Professional certifications in Life Insurance, such as LOMA, are highly desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications.
