Technical FinOps & Cloud Engineer – AWS, MS Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Providing counsel to our clients while operating on platforms like Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or hybrid environments.

• Serving as the primary contact and implementer for technical inquiries and solutions related to Technical FinOps, Cloud Governance, architecture, Kubernetes, migration strategies, and more.

• Crafting and developing migration strategies in cloud computing while taking FinOps into account.

• Offering technical consulting for the deployment of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) across various platforms and their technical execution.

• Advising clients on the integration of FinOps principles and strategies.

• Standardizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.

• Assessing system and software engineering tools and processes.

• Creating system specifications tailored for our client environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with public cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform or AWS, Alibaba Cloud or Azure).

• Initial certifications in cloud technologies are a plus (e.g., CKAD).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, Terraform, or similar tools.

• Genuine interest in AI and AI-supported systems within the realm of FinOps.

• Basic programming and/or scripting capabilities (Python, Bash, etc.).

• Experience in cloud Identity & Access Management is desirable.

• Understanding of serverless architectures and API management.

• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and auditing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS CloudWatch & CloudTrail, Elasticsearch).

• Fundamental understanding of FinOps and its associated principles.

• Proficient in both German and English.
