This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute and uphold mechanical technical services for Steam Turbine and Generator systems in utility and industrial power plants.
• Deliver on-site technical guidance regarding Steam Turbine and Generator systems.
• Review and ensure adherence to equipment engineering documents and operational procedures.
• Diagnose issues with plant equipment and systems.
• Conduct mechanical tasks on Steam Turbines, Generators, and Valves safely, ensuring high quality and timely completion.
• Plan, organize, and carry out disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of turbine, valve, and generator components.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to assist with site and outage operations.
• Aid in pre-outage planning and post-outage closure, including the management of outage documents, reports, and necessary records.
• Enhance customer satisfaction through dependable field service and alignment with business objectives.
• Actively support GE Vernova's vision and uphold organizational core values.
• Technical or university degree, relevant qualifying experience, or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Field Services role.
• At least 2 years of experience in the power sector, including utility, industrial, hydro, oil and gas, turbine generator maintenance, or equipment installation.
• Strong working knowledge of Steam Turbine, Valve, and Generator mechanical systems and components.
• Hands-on experience in dismantling, inspecting, and reassembling mechanical equipment during outages or maintenance activities.
• Capability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, P&IDs, and schematic diagrams.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient documentation and report-writing abilities.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with project and site teams.
