This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, execute, coordinate, and/or monitor activities at the Steam Power site.
• Conduct on-site installations of systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations following installation.
• Address emergency repair and service requests promptly.
• Offer technical guidance and support to customer representatives at their locations.
• Draft technical reports and prepare job status updates and customer communications.
• Procure materials and obtain price quotations.
• Compile job status reports, time sheets, and expense accounts.
• Approve implemented changes.
• Diagnose issues and carry out routine maintenance checks on diverse equipment vintages.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for customer documentation and future outages.
• Ensure all necessary parts are dispatched to the site.
• Execute aftermarket upgrades on-site.
• Supervise critical operations performed by third parties, including measurement and dimensional checks.
• Provide on-site technical leadership for customer-owned utility and industrial power plants, specifically their Steam Turbine Generator Systems.
• Safely oversee maintenance and repairs of power generation equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a related discipline from an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in Field Services or maintenance of power generation equipment.
• Capability to obtain Unescorted Security Clearance for Nuclear Facilities across North America.
• Experience working directly on customer premises.
• Strong technical orientation, quick learning ability, and a self-motivated work ethic.
• Comprehensive understanding of Steam Turbine Operation and Control Parameters, or Steam Boiler Operational Principles.
• Proficient in interpreting and reading electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams.
• Familiarity with dial and laser alignment tools and thermal growth measurement equipment.
• Successful completion of formal training, including specialized classroom and laboratory instruction as assigned.
• Completion of periodic training to maintain competency standards.
• Acceptable results from pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 80% annually, primarily within the U.S., with potential international travel to Canada.
