Technical Engagement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and maintain integrations between customer telephony/audio systems, CAD systems, and GovWorx applications.

• Collaborate directly with PSAP/ECC technical personnel, vendors, and system administrators to guarantee successful installations, connectivity, and data flow.

• Diagnose audio connections and network-related issues, including SIP and various streaming protocols.

• Assist in the setup and configuration of hardware devices utilized for audio or data ingestion.

• Work together with GovWorx implementation and support teams to facilitate seamless deployments and outstanding customer experiences.

• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support as necessary.

• Travel to customer locations up to 20% for system installations, testing, and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.

• Required to pass FBI CJIS fingerprint and criminal background checks at both national and individual state levels.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT, telecommunications, or systems engineering.

• Familiarity with public safety and 9-1-1 center environments and terminology.

• Strong expertise in audio streaming protocols and telephony integration, including VoIP, SIP, RTP, and PBX systems.

• Proficient in Windows and/or Linux server environments, networking, and system configuration.

• Willing to travel up to 20%.

• Willing to engage in an after-hours on-call rotation.

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to operate independently in high-pressure situations.

• Preferred: experience with logging recorders.

• Preferred: familiarity with CAD, radio, or 911 telephony systems.

• Preferred: previous experience with SaaS or cloud-based solutions.
