This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• A Data Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing data processing systems.

• Develop strong and automated pipelines for ingesting and processing both structured and unstructured data from diverse source systems into analytical platforms, utilizing batch and streaming methods with a cloud-native toolkit.

• Build custom applications with tools such as Kinesis, Lambda, and other cloud-native solutions as necessary to meet streaming use cases.

• Design and support data structures, including but not limited to SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Develop and manage ELT processes for populating data lakes (Snowflake, Cloud Storage, Hadoop).

• Utilize appropriate tools to provide testable, maintainable, and contemporary data solutions.

• Address inquiries from customers and team members, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Collaborate with fellow scrum team members to estimate and deliver tasks within a sprint.

• Investigate data inquiries, identify root causes, and engage closely with business users and technical teams.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional technical experience.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with DBT.

• More than 3 years of practical experience in Data Warehousing.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing highly scalable data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with programming languages such as Python.

• At least 3 years of experience in cloud environments, specifically Azure.

• 2 years of experience with Redshift.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills in client-facing situations.
