This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct client interviews and observations with an outstanding "bedside manner," translating intricate IT issues into clear, actionable narratives.

• Proactively identify pain points and inefficiencies within existing manual processes, suggesting data-driven, automated solutions.

• Assess customer data and system environments to pinpoint master data sources and aid in the design of new solution architectures.

• Document business use cases, data objects, and SQL database requirements in a concise and easily understandable format.

• Develop comprehensive data flow diagrams, illustrating data triggers, timing, and mapping throughout the lifecycle.

• Collaborate with software engineers in drafting Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), ensuring that commitments made during discovery are technically viable for development.

• Utilize tools such as Postman and Swagger to verify API functionalities (GET/PUT/POST/DELETE) and confirm the presence of necessary fields and endpoints.

• Advocate for sustainable MVP solutions rather than unnecessary complexity.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in development projects that integrate with enterprise business systems.

• Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders using exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Functional knowledge of SQL and understanding of third normal form.

• Familiarity with modern application development and RESTful APIs.

• Conceptual grasp of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and the interaction of LLMs with hosted tools.

• Document requirements, data flows, and system architecture effectively.

• Accurately estimate effort and proactively communicate any blockers or timeline risks.

• Promote best practices for creating readable, maintainable, performant, and secure solutions.

• Mentor junior engineers and disseminate knowledge throughout the team.

• Effectively manage your time and clearly communicate technical trade-offs.

• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of business processes and data.

• Prioritize practical automation and simple, maintainable solutions (MVP/KISS approach) over unnecessary complexity.

• Professional experience with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and other construction design tools.

• Professional experience with Autodesk Forma, Procore, Newforma, and other construction project management tools.

• Knowledge of Autodesk APS.

• Experience with PowerBI Data Analytics and Notebooks using Python scripting.

• Familiarity with AI Agents and MCP servers.
