Technical Assessor/Interviewer – Mobile Applications, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and implement thorough technical interviews and assessments for senior iOS development roles, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ technical capabilities, experience, and cultural fit.

• Design and regularly refine advanced assessment criteria and interview questions to align with current iOS development trends, tools, and best practices.

• Work closely with HR and development teams to grasp intricate role requirements, desired competencies, and team dynamics, customizing assessments accordingly.

• Deliver detailed, actionable feedback and recommendations to the hiring team, playing a critical role in guiding hiring decisions.

• Keep up with the latest developments in iOS technologies, tools, and practices, ensuring that assessments are timely and relevant.

• Conduct in-depth technical workshops or discussions to assess candidates’ practical skills in a collaborative setting.

• Guide and mentor junior technical assessors/interviewers by sharing best practices and interview methodologies.

• Ensure a superior candidate experience throughout the technical assessment journey.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in iOS development roles, with profound knowledge of Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, iOS SDK, and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines.

• Extensive familiarity with a diverse array of iOS development tools and technologies, including Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, and advanced frameworks.

• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to assess complex technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to provide constructive feedback and mentor others.

• Significant experience in designing advanced technical assessments and conducting technical interviews.

• Current knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in iOS development.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
